Terms & Conditions

Overview

Welcome to Sidai African Serengeti Camp. We are committed to providing an exceptional safari experience while ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our guests. These Terms & Conditions outline the policies regarding booking, cancellations, activities, payments, and general camp regulations. By confirming your reservation, you agree to abide by these terms.

Rates

Subject to room & rate availability
Quoted and invoiced in US dollar ($) per person sharing per night.
All rates are inclusive of VAT, Government levies & Service charge and on full board basis only. The rates are subject to change should government taxes rise, rates applicable for 2024, No Easter & X-mass Supplements.
Bona fide Tour Leader Rates
Tour leader for a group of 12 or more paying guests will be provided with accommodation as well as all other services available to guests at a flat rate of $150, exclusive of both camping and park entry fees.

Child Policy

Children aged 0 - 4 are accommodated on a complimentary basis when sharing with 2 adults (max 1 child)
Children aged 5-15 will receive a 50% discount on the applicable adult sharing rate.
Children under 12 may not occupy their tent—adult supervision is required.

Bookings and Payment Policy

All bookings are made and confirmed through email. Bookings made over the phone are not considered confirmed unless followed up by email.
Any discrepancies on the confirmation or invoice must be addressed with reservations within 7 days of issue
Bookings made more than 90 days prior to arrival will be held for a maximum of 30 working days
Bookings made 60 - 90 days prior to arrival will be held for a maximum of 7 working days
Full pre-payment (100%) is requested 30 days prior to arrival.
20% deposit required on making the booking & Full balance of payment is required 35 days prior to clients’ arrival.
A confirmation voucher will be issued only on receipt of 100% payment of booking.
Sidai African Safari Camps & Lodges may at its discretion not honor a booking if payment has not been received within 35 days from the arrival date.
In the event of an increase in taxes, levies and any other statutory charges, or any other input costs, we reserve the right

Cancellation Policy

Only written cancellations will be accepted.
An acknowledgement of the cancellation will be sent from the reservations department
25% of fee if cancellation is between 90 - 61 days prior to arrival.
50% of fee if cancellation is between 60 - 31 days prior to arrival.
100% of fee if cancellation is less than 30 days prior to arrival.

Safari Activities & Excursions

ll activities, including game drives, nature walks, and sundowner experiences, must be booked in advance.
Some activities require a minimum number of participants to operate.
Sidai African Serengeti Camp reserves the right to cancel or modify activities due to weather, safety concerns, or park regulations.

Liability & Insurance

Guests participate in all activities at their own risk.
The camp is not responsible for injuries, loss, or damage to personal belongings.
We highly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellations, and lost items.

Park Fees & Government Levies

Serengeti National Park fees are not included in the accommodation price unless stated otherwise.
Guests are responsible for paying all government levies and conservation fees required by TANAPA.

Health & Safety

Guests must follow the camp’s safety guidelines at all times.
Wildlife encounters can happen—guests should remain cautious and follow the instructions of guides and camp staff.
A valid yellow fever vaccination certificate may be required for entry into Tanzania.

Code of Conduct

Respect for local culture, wildlife, and other guests is expected.
Smoking is only allowed in designated areas.
Any damage to camp property will be charged to the guest responsible.

Force Majeure

The camp is not liable for cancellations or service interruptions due to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Amendments to Terms & Conditions

Sidai African Serengeti Camp reserves the right to update these terms without prior notice.
